Even though clone cd made what looks like a perfect backup, when you try to play IL2-1946 by Ubisoft, it says to put in original and then points you to www.securom.com for further infor mation.Anyone know a way to get around this?

Read this thread and use the Hide CDR option.

Which SecuRom version? Scan the game with Protection ID.

Yes it can but you need a modchip for playing.
