Detroit the person downloaded the key but can't find it.

Download it again and see where it saved to the last time this is where you'll find it. Most likely it is in my documents.

Then it would be lost, so that lost key link would send them a new copy that wouldn't be lost.

it's lost on the PC so do a search. why leave it on the PC to get found by unauthorized persons?

Who's to say someone else has access to the computer?

I have it on 3 different flash drives and on a storage HDD that is password protected and burnt onto a cd too. SO if I lose my keys I'll just give up.

Hi :)
When you look for it(the key). What method are you using?
If it 's windows explorer then make sure it's enabled to see all files. Or just download to desktop. It should be visible there.

IE sends downloads, by default, to your desktop. If you have selected another folder for downloads, it will be there.

I have my keys stored on my usb flash drive, no reason to have them on my harddrive.

I burnt mine on to a couple CDs! Ever had a flash drive go bad? I have!

(I've had CDs screw up too, but they are cheaper so I go with multiple copies!)

A CD is 700MB, the key is like 1KB, that's a dirty waste of space.

I just use the old-fashioned floppys. I have to use them for something so it may as well be this. I still have about 50 left. LOL:D

My new computer didn't come with a floppy drive because they're an old technology.

I thought I already said that, maybe it was in another thread. Yeah, I put mine on a USB flash drive.
