AnyDVD upgrade

I have tried to find the answer to my question,without success.
So, please could someone advise.
I am thinking of trying AnyDVD HD for 21 days.
If i decide i do not want to upgrade at the end of the trial period. Is my AnyDVD original key still valid.?
That is will i be able to revert to AnyDVD.

Be sure to save your key file you got for AnyDVD, then delete the key info from the registry. If at the end of 21 days you opt to NOT buy the HD version, simply reinstall your key file and AnyDVD will continue as before. If you do decide to purchase AnyDVD-HD use that key file and discard your original AnyDVD key file as it will be cancelled upon purchasing/unlocking the HD version. Unlocking the HD version is a better description as they are now the same program.
