In this forum we wanna share funny emails to SlySoft support. A today's email:
What the hell is wrong with you people?
I just read on BBC News that you announced that you cracked Blue-Ray. Haven't you learned from what's happened on the internet before? Now they are going to get the courts to shut you down and all of us who bought your software are going to be left without any updates when they come out with a new protection scheme.

He doesn't want you to crack the Blu-Ray protection so that you can go on creating updates against new protections? Wow, that's what I call logic!

Wow, it takes all kinds, huh??
The guy needs to chill out, maybe even go outside for awhile, and remember that Slysoft has been around for this long, and they're not going to vanish like some Johnny come lately company.
You guys (Slysoft) are in it for the long haul, and I, for one, am glad of it!!

i did do a search for both "slysoft" and "bd+".

but it drew a blank.

This is an overheard 2nd hand story related to phone support for either Gateway or Dell don"t remember which. After spending over an hour in attempting to assist a customer in just getting his computer to start, cs guy says ok, do you know if the wall socket you have it plugged into is working, customer says he doesn't know, csr says well could you plug a table lamp in and see if it turns on, customer says no he can't, csr asks why, customer says its on the wall under the desk and he can't see it, csr says why not turn on the room lights and see if there is enough spill to see, customer says he can't because all the lights are out due to a power outage, csr suggests customer box up computer and send it back for a refund, as this computer obviously doesn't like this customer and since thru the internet all computers talk to each other no other computer will work for this customer either. :bang::bang::bang:

It's been awhile but here goes a first hand story from a corner store gas station I worked at.
Woman walks in. Store is kinda busy. She wants an ice cream cone.
I go and get a cone and am about to scoop the ice cream she wants.
At this point she has noticed there is a small chip on the rim of the cone
and tells me she doesn't want that cone because it has a chip out of it.
I look at the cone, look at her, think bad thoughts, throw the cone away
and grab another cone, making sure it doesn't have any chips out of it.
However this time the cone is not quite sitting in the napkin I have wrapped
around it so I push it down a bit. HOLY CRAP I touched the rim with my finger
now she doesn't want THAT cone. This time I am getting a bit irritated with her
so I crush the cone as I throw it away. She saw me crush the cone and now
decides that I have anger management issues and doesn't want me to serve her.
Ok fine, I politely ask the other person working with me to serve her and I took
over serving the other customers. However she has not shut up and I guess because
I am quietly and politely serving other customers and now ignoring her she raises her
voice and is practically shouting at me as she gets quite red in the face, what was
she shouting... that I need anger management classes. Yes folks the red faced
woman shouting at me as I was nicely serving other customers thinks I need anger
management.
I almost asked her where she goes for classes but I figured the classes weren't that
good since they weren't working for her.

I didn't think Slysoft was going away, but the person who complained about "no recent updates" probably was.

MORE! I want to read some bad customer stories! I use to work in retail and love to hear about bad customers.
As a long time user of these products, I can tell you from personal experience with the Slysofteam, you probably wont read any bad reviews, as these are some of the best programs for backing up your cd/dvd/blu ray collection available, and the fact that the discosure that this sorftware is for personal backup only, and anyone doing oterwise is in violation with the agreement they accepted when they purchased the software is enough legal potection to keep slysoft around for a long long time. The customer service is great, and the software is excellent!!! Keep up the good work team, your Awsome:rock:

It is now 17 May 2012 (the post was 30 March 2008), and still Slysoft is here, breaking the protections the studios come up with.

There have been a couple of new posters lately that are doing thread necromancy, adding totally irrelevant comments. One even replied to a comment they made to keep the thread "alive".
