Clone CD and AnyDVD

[Stumped]

I want to purchase Clone CD mainly to backup/copy my PC games... ( on CD's and DVD's.)
Do I need to also purchase AnyDVD?
I used the 'trial' version of CloneCD to make a copy of a game that Blindwrite couldn't....but, I also had the trial of AnyDVD running. Would Clone CD have done the job without AnyDVD running?

Only if you want to make double layer backups of movie dvds with Verbatim +R DL media (which is my preferrred method of backing my dvds up) . . .

Anydvd is require for movie backups.
