Hi! :)
I do not intend to hit out against your English-German translators, but from my point of view some English phrases have been translated incorrectly into German.
If you generally accept suggestions, I will list all mistakes I have found and send it to you.
I urge all forum members not to post comments like "You are too nit-pick!" (or something like that), because I just want to contribute to improve an excellent program.
If any SlySoft Team Member feels responsible for my request just let me know if you agree or disagree.

Helga Hong and Zer0 obviously are non-native German speakers, otherwise they wouldn't have made some mistakes...

We updated the German language file with your modifications. You can download and verify it. Simply replace file AnyDVDde.lng in directory %ProgramFiles%\SlySoft\AnyDVD\language with the one in the attached archive.
If you have further suggestions look at the additional localization file.
(archive is password encrypted)

Zer0 is a native german AFAIK. He was a Slysoft forum member, who was complaining about the translation. And to be honest these corrections are very small and I didn't even notice these grammar mistakes.

Yet another update...
I have some information, plato. "Blu-ray Disc", "HD DVD" and "Video DVD" are now fixed, the team will correct all of them (if not already done). Also they said they will look for some German word for "Disc/Disk/Medium" to make the translation consistent and correct again.

"Blu-ray Disc" is a trade name and the official German spelling. So I'm told and they send me that link: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu-ray - Sorry, they insist. :)
"regionalcodefrei" is changed.
And they say they cannot find "Registration von AnyDVD...". Could you give me a hint?
And they formally changed "Disk/Disc/Medium" to "Datenträger" according to "IBM-Deutsch" :)

Oh, you can edit the .xml file with notepad or any other texteditor you like.
But use a utf-8 aware editor (notepad is one) to not mess with regional characters (like your German umlauts) :)

Obviously there seems to be a tiff... I never said "Blu-ray Disc" would be wrong ("Blu-ray Disk" is wrong - like it was before I started the correction). :)
And they say they cannot find "Registration von AnyDVD...". Could you give me a hint?
When you start the program "Register AnyDVD" and you successfully register it, it tells you: "Registration von AnyDVD in Ordnung! Bitte starten Sie AnyDVD erneut".
"Registration" is incorrect. "Registrierung" is the right translation.
And they formally changed "Disk/Disc/Medium" to "Datenträger" according to "IBM-Deutsch" :)
"Datenträger" is very good! :)
(BTW: Never buy IBM hard disks...)

Oh, I see. RegAnyDVD is localizing a different way. That's why they couldn't find the text. Will be fixed in a later release.

Same applies for other strings and "RPC2 Laufwerk".

The current German spelling rules admit that you are correct. But from my point of view there must be a spelling reform, since it simply looks better without a "-". Until then there should be a minus between of these two words.

"HD DVD" and "Blu-ray Disc" are trade names, we cannot change them. They are the correct German translations.
"Der abgesicherte Modus" is not allowed too. User might get confused with safe-boot option of Windows9x/ME.
