Compatible blank discs for Samsung BD-P1400

Hi,

i've tested some blanc discs in my Samsung BD-P1400 Player.
First of all: BD-R are working fine. But there are problems with BD-RE

1. LG BD-RE 25 (came with my BR burner): works, but i have to open/close the tray of player 2-5 times, until discs gets recognized.
2. Sony BD-RE 25: doesnt work
2. TDK BD-RE 50 GB: works fine, no problems


Hope some guys can tell me their experience with blanc discs for the samsung player.

Have you tried updating your players firmware?
I have Read in a few newegg reviews that LG blanks (NOT THERE DRIVES) are problematic.....they were promotional disc's that are free with burners...since I don't Have any LG blanks I can't confirm this myself.

has anyone had any problems with traxdata bd-r 25gb on the bd-p1500?

ive burnt a film on one and it works perfect on my pc but when i put it in my samsung player the sound goes distorted?

any help would be great
