Please help. I am unable to burn any movies now. It just started happening. I have been using AnyDVD and Clone DVD for a long time without any problems. I'm using AnyDVD ver. 6.4.6.2 and Clone DVD2 ver. 2.9.1.9.
The media I use is Verbatim dvd+r datalife plus. I have 2 burners. A Lite-ON and a Memorex. Everything worked fine until everything just stopped. Every movie I try to back up it stops showing a read error. Even on movies that have no kind of encryption. I've attached the log files for AvyDVD and CloneDVD2. The Clonedvd2 log file I had to edit because it was too large to attach. I left the beginning and the end. This is from the movie, "The Shining". I even downloaded Nero cd-dvd speed to check out the movie disc. It showed a .1% error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just cannot imagine that both my burners went out at the same time. I've tried burning in both drives and I got the same response. I even ripped the movie to the hard drive using Anydvd ripper then tried burning using Clonedvd2. Same result.
Thanks for any help!!!!!

1. Update to Anydvd 6.4.6.6: click http://static.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD6466.exe
2. Click the red fox icon on your toolbar

These filters may cause issues
i) Create a backup of your registry
ii) Download imgburn. It's a free program: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
(it's also an excellent program imo)
iii) Go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order. Select "Iviaspi". Click "Remove Selected filter". Select "drvmcdb". Click "Remove Selected Filter". Click "ok".
iv) Reboot
I 09:35:09 Speed: 2-2.4x
4. Unless you're burning to +R DL blank media, never burn that slowly. If you're using 16x rated blank media, use an 12x or 8x burn speed.

I believe that error indicates the file can't be opened/saved on your hard drive. I'm not sure why that would happen unless the free space on drive C is too small (in which case you need to delete files to free up space on your hard drive)--or another program is suddenly blocking access to your hard drive. Also is your hard drive corrupt? Have you scheduled chkdsk lately?
I even downloaded Nero cd-dvd speed to check out the movie disc. It showed a .1% error.
Yeah, but the File 1 error appears to be coming from your hard drive--not the original disc.

first, thank you for taking the time to help me. I've updated Anydvd to 6.4.6.5. I downloaded imgburn and removed the two filters. I did a chkdsk and it said my drive was fine. No errors. My media is rated for up to 8x. So I tried another movie at this speed. I received the same error message. This time the movie is "21". I placed the movie in one dvd drive and tried burning it directly on to the other dvd drive with the same bad results. I've attached the Clonedvd log. Thanks again. Any other suggestions?

O.k., you addressed everything other than what I bolded.
The problem is likely that you don't have enough free space on drive c:, which is your hard drive.

O mighty Webslinger. I want to thank you for helping. I don't understand why or how Clonedvd completely works, but I took your advice. My C: drive still has 35gb of free space left. I have another internal drive. A 500gb. I made a Clonedvdtemp file on that drive and pointed Clonedvd to that file and everything burns perfectly. Once again, thank you for all your help.

Hmmm . . . are you sure that there was 35 gigs free when you were using Clonedvd back then? Something weird was definitely going on with drive c:.

Well, I'm glad that worked for you.
