I have just upgraded to AnyDVD HD whoever I have not been able to find software to copy my blu ray movies. I have tried DVD Shrink and CloneDVD2 but they do not recognize the disks. Any suggestions on software to use?

I'd try reading through the AnyDVD HD guide in the stickies, it gives you the basics on how to use this software. You don't need anything else to rip it to your hard drive

Unfortunately I am very new to all of this so I am not sure what you mean buy the guide in the stickies. I was able to get the movie ripped onto my hard drive but how do I get it onto a blank Blu ray? The folders are over 40 GB so I understand that it will not all fit but how do I know which are the movie files or not. Is it not possible to find a program like clonedvd or dvd shrink at will work like ripping DVD's.

the stickies are the ones at the beginning of the forum called 'stickies'. You can't shrink them down the same as you can on DVD, you can't keep the menu's etc. Look for the 'movie only' guide everything is explained in there

We do not support burning BluRay at the moment due to the high cost of burners and blanks and deciding how such a product should "look" - we are working on a solution and there are some products like Nero that can handle burning these.

At the moment we support backing up to the hard drive with the same removals of studio material like for normal DVDs. You can now create an ISO image directly in AnyDVD, mount it on our free Virtual CloneDrive and fool PowerDVD into thinking the BD movie is in the drive, not an image on your hard drive. See this info:

And for some really good global BluRay links, see this in our forum as well:

Some new features are available in AnyDVD as of version 6462:

- New: Added ISO/UDF image file creation to AnyDVD ripper
- New (Blu-ray & HD DVD): ISO/UDF images can be created with or without
copy protection. Images can be mounted with Virtual CloneDrive(tm),
available at http://www.slysoft.com

See this info about creating the ISO image directly in AnyDVD with or without protection.
