In the last few days I have found that you guys are truly gurus in the blu-ray/dvd/software player areas. For that, I thank all of you.

Is it possible to have PowerDVD 7.3, PowerDVD 8, and WinDVD installed and working (as well as they do) on the same machine? Do they conflict with each other?

Hi

I don't think you'll get away with two versions of PowerDVD at the same time as the installs likely write files into the Windows "work area" with the same names, just different content.

There is no reason why you could not install WinDVD along with PowerDVD as they are totally different programs. I can't figure out why you'd want to do that but it's up to you.

PDVD 7 and 8 can be installed at the same time as of the latest updates, I could not guarantee it will always be that way though.

You can. I have two versions of Powerdvd Ultra installed. The installations default to different directories.

I've had PowerDVD7 Ultra, PowerDVD8 Ultra, WinDVD9 Plus BluRay, and ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre installed at the same time without any problems.
