View Full Version : 1.8.2.2 Juddering/studdering of BluRays/ISO in picture not in sound - how to fix it?

Using version 1.8.2.2 of ReClock a problem occurs:
I use ReClock because my Beamer can't play 24p but 48Hz. So ReClock makes the BluRay- or HD-DVD-movies play smoothly.
That all was perfect with version 1.7beta.
Having installed version 1.8.2.2 and playing BluRays or ISOs from BluRays a juddering (or studdering? Sorry I'm not sure about the correct word) occurs just with the picture not with the sound: Every 3 or 4 minutes (sometimes more, sometimes less) the picture starts to judder (extremely visible when the camera pans) for a few seconds, after that the movie is played correctly for another few minutes and all this starts again.
All this doesn't effect the sound.

I had this problem with PowerDVD before playing DVDs because the 1.7-version of ReClock wasn't loaded in PowerDVD. Now this problem just occurs playing BluRays or ISO-files.
Having installed ReClock version 1.8.0.5 and recocnizing this error with BluRays I installed 1.7 again and the movies were played smoothly again. Using version 1.8.2.2 this method doesn't work any more:
It doesn't makes any difference either I use 1.8.2.2 nor 1.7, the picture starts to judder.

Could anybody explain that to me and has an advice?
Could it be because I was playing BluRays as ISO from the HDD? Could it be just because of certain BluRays (Die Hard 1 + 2)?

Do I have to set other boxes to configurate the program? Do I have to set the VSYNC-box?

With version 1.7 I set the following for playing BluRays:

Video stream: 23,976 (24 or unknown for HD-DVDs)
Media adaption: Auto
VSYNC: enable

That was all, and it worked.

Whenever a slight juddering occured I pushed the "Pause"-key two times (first for pausing, second for playing on) and everything was o.k. for the rest the movie was playing.

It would be great if somebody could explain that to me and had some advide how to fix it.

Last but not least I want to excuse my English and hope somebody can understand what I mean ;o)

Thanks!
