O.K. I am ready to write an image to my BD,am using ImgBurn, have mounted VCD, and I keep getting a message that the disc needs formatting so I try to erase from ImgBurn, no go, I go right to the drive and the option is not there,it's a new disc, does any body have any suggestions as to what I should do next:confused:
Thanks

need much more info than that, like drive model type of discs, image that you're trying to burn etc

Thanks for the call backAdbear, the drive is:HL-DT-ST BD-RE GGW-H20L and the disc I am using or attempting to use is a Memorex BD-RE and the image is a backup of Beetlejuice, I am using UDF 2.5 in ImgBurn. Hope this helps?

the drive doesnt support those discs unless there is a new firmware from lg to add them to its list. i have the older H10N drive and have the same issue. sucks i know... lg are slow with firmware and support... i use verbatium discs which work fine...

O.K. it would seem that with the new firmware update LG see's the Memorex disc and ImgBurn is now in the process of erasing the info, albeit, verrrrrry slowly but working non the less. Thanks every one for your help...
