My rip of Pitch Black HD DVD wont play under TMT but it does under PDVD! I don't know what TMT does to test a valid disc but it is the only ISO I've had a problem with so far. I did re-rip it again under AnyDVD 6.4.8.5 and even tried leaving encryption on. I have tried CloneDrive 5.4.1.1 with the .dvd and the betas of 5.4.1.2 and 5.4.1.3
Any suggestions?

Yes. Use 5.4.1.3 and mount the .iso file.

I've tried mounting the .dvd, mounting the .iso and mounting the .iso when the .dvd has been deleted. It still doesn't play with TMT. The image does mount properly, it seems to be a specific issue with Pitch Black ISO and only when playing with TMT not PowerDVD. I haven't tried that many personal rips, 10 HD DVDs and 3 Blu-Rays so I don't know if the problem is more widespread. But since my system plays the film fine from the drive, I know it isn't an issue with TMT

I've mounted the ISO with Virtual CloneDrive and then made a new ISO with ImgBurn. This new ISO now plays back perfectly with TMT and PowerDVD
So either the ISO ripped by AnyDVD HD isn't compatible with TMT
or
Virtual CloneDrive mounts the original ISO but this appears invalid to TMT
It is a bug but I can't say for definite which program it is in :bang:

I am having the same issue with virtual clonedrive and TMT. I did notice TMT installed an update recently. I also notice Nero Showtime is not able to play from the mounted ISO's. imgburn didn't work for me.

Use VCD 5.4.1.3 and mount the .iso file. Not the .dvd file. If you can't see the file extensions, enable them in Windows folder options.

I have VCD 5.4.1.3 installed and the latest TMT and Nero Showtime 4 -- neither can load the movie. I mounted the .ISO and I can view the files on the virtual drive from explorer. I used AnyDVD to rip to image.
Update: I installed VCD and TMT on another computer and am having the same problems with multiple ISO images (Starship Troopers 3 and Bucket List).

At least I'm not alone!
You could try what I did. Download ImgBurn from http://www.imgburn.com/
Mount the existing unplayable ISO with VCD. This will only work if the image is decrypted (I think). Launch ImgBurn and choose "Create image file from files/folders". If it is a HD DVD add the ADV_OBJ and HVDVD_TS from the mounted image, or on Blu-Ray add the BDMV and CERTIFICATE folders. On the Options tab change the File System to UDF version 2.50 and create the image. See if this image mounts and plays.
