I burned a blu-ray disc, and when I played it in my sony stand alone player there was video but no audio. Here are my steps, After copying to HD I ran it through tsMuxer removing all foreign subtitles leaving the BD video and the AC3 audio plus all other eng. ie two track etc. etc.so why would I lose audio in the final burn process:confused:

I had that happen to me when I copied the HD Audio, but realized that since I did not have a HD Receiver yet, that I had to use the AC3 Audio or convert the HD Audio to AC3.

Not sure why yours is not working since you say your choosing the correct audio channel.

I am having the same issue but with just one movie, Resident Evil: Extinction.

Used txMuxer to remove all other languages except English.

Imgburn to BD-R, play in standalone bd player and no main sound, only the secondary audios of interviews and behind the scenes.

PowerDVD to play ripped files of hdd. Same thing.

All other movies have worked well with no issues.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

if you've removed all other language tracks and it's playing the commentary track then it means you removed the wrong track

More than likely I am still too new at this but here goes:

I have attached a print screen of txMuxer of the m2ts file and the deselection I am doing. I thought those removed were other language and even though I leave all Eng. tracks the only thing that plays is the commentary voice over.

Any additional information would greatly be appreciated.

I believe that if you want to have the HD Video, plus all English Audio and Subtitles, you would want to:

KEEP: # 2 (MAIN VIDEO in 1080P)

KEEP: #3 & 7 (English Audio in HD or AC3 - depends on what you want to keep)

KEEP: #8 & 9 (English Subtitles)

Thanks for the help in clarifying the files, it reinforces me of the decisions I make. Now that I know that I have selected the right files and I still get no play of audio from the standalone player, I know it wasn't me. I also know that it is not the player either. But after having read this and doing some long night research, I found that txMuxer does not support TrueHD. I did though select the radio button to downconvert the TrueHD to AC3 and that worked, at least on the standalone player (Dolby Digital 2,3.1,48khz).

What I don't get now is why if I play this back on the pc BD player through PowerDVD I get not sound.
