after seeing this card as a option for true hd sound and reading all the problems on the avs forum i still ended picking one up. was wondering if anyone else here picked one up? first problem was getting it in the case, because of the way the case is built theres a aluminum brace in the way. well i ended taking off the aluminum top on the card and got it in.
now the next problem will be to find a workaround for the hdmi because my projector isnt hdcp compliant so if any one has done this already any help would be great. thanks

With AnyDVD running it removes the requirement for HDCP because the content is not encrypted anymore.

Getting an ATI card with 8-channel PCM audio over HDMI would probably be the better/more reliable/cheaper solution, including the option to use ReClock.

yeah looks like that would have been the way to go now. the version of tmt that comes with the card wont play with anydvd running so its usless to me since my projector is not hdcp compliant. i also tried to bypass the video on the hdmi with no sucess.

well i was finally was able to get the hdav 1.3 to work thanks to the guys on the avs forum. you can use any hdmi device powered up to to the hdav hdmi input to allow the pap to pass through the hdmi output to the reciever. i just watched wall-e and have never heard anything close to this sound quality. it was in DTS-HD Master Audio and is just incredible.
