Why does ReClock show 1920x1080i DVD when a 1920x1080p BluRay or HD-DVD is played?
Does the auto-setting have negative effects when the media isn't recognized correctly?

PowerDVD is lying.

No, this is purely cosmetic.

??? Why is PowerDVD lying?
I play a BluRay (Casino Royale) which is in 1080p, but ReClock says 1080i.
Or did you mean ReClock is lying?

PowerDVD sets these values, ReClock only reports them. Don't shoot the messenger.
