B-R on PC Only?

After burn, will the disc only play on a PC with b-r player or will I be able to play on any b-r player, for example; PS3?
Just wanted to know before purchasing AnyDVD HD. If it's only playable on PC, no sense in buying!

Lost of people burn then to BD-R/RE and watch them on their stand alone players. Be careful though as some are better about playing them than others. I don't burn any of mine but it seems from what I have seen the PS3 is the most reliable when it come to berned disks. As I said don't take my word for it do some research.
