Stuttering even on green status

I run reclock to get 100% stutter free playback of HD material (bluray, HDTV etc). My videocard (GF8300 IGP) is apparently not "fully supported" by powerstrip so I'm left at using integer refresh rates (50 and 72 Hz for 25 and 23,976 fps)

Isn't reclock supposed to be able to correct the difference between 71,928 and 72 Hz when playing back 23,976 fps material? I am not able to get stutter free playback no matter what.

Most of all I would like to use spdif out, but I have tried both fully analog and reclock's ac3 encoder. None of them gives stutter free playback.

Playback is smooth on the average, but every few seconds I get an annoying jerk that is very visible during panning for example.

I think I have tried everything, except another graphics card. Can someone help me out?

Is there any guide to follow to get as close as possible to specific refresh rates in powerstrip? The example timings in runevent.sample.vbs does not give me anything close to 71,928.

I have tried a 6800GT dedicated videocard, a dedicated sound card, cool'n'quiet off, nothing gives me stutter free playback. When using 72Hz on the 6800GT the displayed refresh rate is 0,0 Hz in reclock! What's up with that??

Am I wrong or isn't reclock supposed to be able to speed up my 23,976 fps movies so that 72Hz is a correct refresh rate (3x24)???

Sure, it is supposed to do that. No idea why it doesn't for you. How do you set the refresh rate? Try to delete ReClock's timings database. Try to avoid PowerStrip.

Now I have uploaded a zip file with two logs, from playback of the same movie clip at 72Hz and 75Hz. It contains long pannings which points out the problem. I skipped a few minutes during playback to get to the best spots.

The strange thing is that is stutters less at 75Hz than at 72Hz, but sound gets out of sync after a while at 75Hz (any idea why that happens?).

The stutter is quite random, every other second or so. It jerks very apparent during panning.

Reclock icon is green all the time, and nothing in the reclock window seems out of order.

Reclock settings were set to default, except use ac3 encoder and logging.

System info:

Asus M3N78-EM (Geforce 8300 IGP), latest drivers from Asus as of today.
AMD Athlon X2 4850e

Now I have deleted the database, and after a few minutes of refresh rate jumping from 65-78Hz (!) and green-red reclock icon the icon is green again.

But I still get those "WARNING limiter l'erreur m_freqCorr" lines all the time.

To get technical, what does it mean?

No idea, it is french. :D
You should delete timings, enable logging and try again. I need the log with the initial hardware detection.

Ok, I deleted the clock timings database, and this is the log from the first playback after that. I played until the reclock icon got green and the refresh rate had stopped at 72.000 Hz.

One thing that strikes me is the exactness of 72.000. Is it possible that reclock displays that when it hasn't got the exact number from the hardware? On other computers I've seen it says something close to 72, like 71,754.

Another thing: is it normal that the refresh rate jumps so very far from 72 during initial detection? It was in the range of 66 to 80 Hz (as displayed in the reclock window).

Try to erase ReClock timings and change the hardware access method (in reclock config) from Directdraw to Direct3D.. maybe it will like you videocard better.

I have the same problem. Seems to work sometimes, and fail others. Looks as if it depends on whether I run Powerstrip or not.

I have the GF9300 IGP, btw. Not too different from yours, I guess.
