Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase CloneDVD and AnyDVD for, say... two other people, and then get the Keys for those two people to unlock them?
I mean, how would the other two people that I buy this for ever get the Keys to unlock them?
Has anyone ever done this?
I know two people that I would like to buy them for, but I am not sure if the Keys can be sent to them if I do that.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Just put their name in and their email. This will send them an email with the key etc etc.

I am not sure if this is allowed. This person can simply download the latest version and use his key once you buy it. I would say it is not something that is allowed. Why would you buy from another person anyway?
At least "officially" it will not be allowed, and simply put you will be the one in the wrong because you will have a program which is registered to another person installed on your computer.
I'm sure you would be getting these programs on a discounted rate. I would suggest you just wait and save up the rest of the money and get the programs registered in your name.
These programs are well... WELL worth the money the cost... (even when paying in full)

I disagree with you as he or she is wanting to get this for a friend not buy from a friend.

How funny, every time I saw the word "for" I read the word "from"
With that cleared up:
Register and pay for 2 programs using each of the friend's name as the registering name. Then simply send the Keys to them.
My logic.. that should work. Sorry that I misunderstood you at first.

Yes, because the billing info and the recipient address information can be different.

I purchased two licenses of AnyDVD in my name. I also purchased two Thumb Drives. I installed one license on each drive and one to my Son and one to my Daughter for Xmas. When I pay for a software, that software is mine to do with as I see fit.

I have a question in the same vein. I have a friend who wants to purchase the programs and doesn't have the internet. The keys register the program, but do you have to be online to be fully registered or should this person just get the internet and stop being a damn miser?

Slysoft programs don't require online activation. However, the license keys are emailed to you, so your friend should probably have an email account at least to be safe.
