Hello,
i am very happy that I found this forum. Here are the specialists i am searching for :)

Well, first sorry for my bad english, i am not a native speaker and i speak english not very much :)

Ok, lets move on to the question I have

I want to use MediaPortal RC4 with Reclock and want to use SPDIF. I have a lot of 24p movies but they all stuttering. So I found that Reclock speeds up the movie from 24 to 25 fps and also the audio.

But HOW can i configure it? Normally I am using CoreAVC Video Decoder + Haali media Splitter + MPA Decoder from MediaPortal.

But if I change the Audio Renderer from "DirectSound: Digital Output(Aureon 7.1 PCI) to Reclock Audio Renderer.... i can see the movie but i have no sound anymore :/

plz help... i have waited succchh a long time for this great solution but now i dont have a clue how to configure MediaPortal and ReClock to keep it safe running.

Thank you! and have a nice christmas :)

Look at manual, keyword "SPDIF". :)
You can't use speedups with SPDIF.

ah ok.... but when I decode SPDIF with FFDShow and then speedup the sound with reclock... and then encode again? isn't that possible?

Or what is the best way to get a clear 25fps picture with good sound and no more stuttering? I am using SPDIF cause my receiver has this input (Yamaha RX-V659.

This is the recommended procedure if you *have* to use a SPDIF connection.

airshark . you have a Terratec Aureon 7.1 PCI so a Dolby Digital Live encoder card. good!

you should:

set the gabest mpa decoder into Media Portal for analog decoding

and set those reclock settings.

when reclock start open its tray icon and try to set the "hardware resampling"

and finally of course you should set the Ac3 encoder .. into Aureon 7.1 setup.

Thank you for this nice guide! :)

Is there a lot of quality loss?

no. the hw resampling by the card is the best choice.
and its encoding shuold be great. let me know if work .
because terratec aureon is a good choice for htcp . and it's cheap (under 50€...)
