I made a 1:1 copy of a movie burned with IMGBurn.
The first media wont work at all.
Neither on PC nor standalone.
The third try is running on PC not on my Panasonic BD30.
I tried a blank Sony Disk and it worked.
Anyone knows the Verbatim aren“t combatible?
50 euros for the trash.
Any help is apreciated.

When you saya 1:1 copy do you mean a copy with protection removed?
In what way is it not working?
Is the one you wrote to the Sony disc the same movie or a different movie?

1 Yes with protection removed.
2 Dont play on stand alone.
3 Yes the same movie plays well on the Sony disc with nothing done further.
@Clams for three discs.

I suppose it depends on what version the Verbatim discs are, or it may be just a bad disc, especially as it didn't work on the PC either
Also what burner are you using and what firmware is it on?

Burner LG H20L Y05.
Verbatim Ver 1.2.
IMGBurn burned with 4x speed the disc is certified only at 2x.
Second disc i reduced speed to 2x it worked on PC but not on standalone.
I think IMGBurn can“t handle the media correctly.

I've had no problem burning to DL discs using Imgburn, but mine have been Panasonic DL BD-re and Sony DL BD-r. DOn't think it's Imgburn, otherwise it wouldn't burn to the Sony discs either, it may be that your Standalone doesn't like that brand.
Whenever I burn mine though I've ripped to folder first then added in any missing empty folders (to make them PDVD compliant) then burnt them back to disc using UDF 2.5

That's expensive, that works out around £15 a disc, I was getting DL BD-r's for around £9 a disc (pack of 10 Sony DL BD-r) off ebay including carriage

Would that be a horseless or baby carriage?

Yes, thats very expensive.
It wouldn“t bother me at all if the discs would work.
So i“m a little pissed off.
