I have just installed reclock hoping i would get a smother bluray and dvd playback on my system. I have the following
asus motherboard geforce 8300 chipset.
2 gb ram
vista x32
powerdvd 8 ultra
anydvd hd
system is conected to onkyo 606 by hdmi.
samsung 46 inch lcd 1080p
1. what refresh rate should i choose i nvidia panel. i can choose from 23 all the way up to 60hz (live in europe if it has any meaning for this)
2. Tried to play a bluray after installing reclock. the video plays fine. but reclock icon remains yellow. i can get it green if i ask reclock to match output to 29hz or 60 hz. doesnot matter if screen resolution is set to 60 or 24 hz. i get the same results. All other settings in reclockare left at default. Does this makes any sense or am i doing something wrong.
