I have a problem with backed up Blu Ray discs that are encoded using VC-1. Discs encoded with H264 are fine.
With ANYDVD HD running and useing tsmuxer to choose the audio and video you require, create a Blu Ray output, burn with imgburn all works fine for H264, but wont work with VC-1 discs.
MOST INTERESTING is that I have "THE FOG" which is VC-1 and it will fit on a single layer BD disc complete, if you copy files to hard drive by simply using explorer then burn with imgburn everything works fine. So the Panasonic will play ripped VC-1 discs but NOT if you interfere with them in any way, i.e. with tsmuxer. Can anybody help.

Thats not a problem of AnyDVD HD, its a problem of your BD-35 and remuxed vc-1 m2ts files done by tsmuxer.
A lot of people have this problem with remuxed vc-1 discs and the bd-35/bd-55.
Till now there seems to be no freeware solution.

I convert my VC-1 to H264 although it isn't a simple process. I usually extract the video to mkv with eac3to and the audio to AC3. Then I convert the mkv using MEGUI to H264. This usually takes a couple of days even with a quad processor. Then I remux with TsMuxer the H264 and the AC3 into a m2ts file.

I wasnt saying or thinking that this is a problem with AnyDVD HD at all. The internet is full of this problem of ripped VC-1 not playing on this player (35 and 55 models).
As I said, if you copy the whole disc to the blank disc it will play. The problem is probably the player/tsmuxer combi
CAN ANYBODY HELP !!!

Hello everybody, this is my first post. Excuse my english - I'm from Poland.
Yes, the problem is player/tsmuxer combi. Ts muxer is changing something in VC1 video files and Pana BD35/55 cannot read them after. The solution is to mux the files demuxed in TsMuxer in Sonic Scenarist 4.2 or up. They play fine. There is the way how to do that:
http://www.glenharrison.com/bluray/step5.htm
If you need any subtitles - let me know, I will write the way.

Yes please. I would like a walktrhough with subtitles.
Also if there is anyway to change the horizontal position of the subtitle in th e process, it would be great. (I have a 2.40 screen, and some subtitles are too low)...

Ok, pleinlesyeux.
This is the way I did it.
First demux in TsMuxer all you want to keep - video, audios and subtitles (1 or more)
Now you need SUPRead application: http://pel.hu/down/SUPread.exe
Open the .sup file (subtitles) by selecting and pressing Read Sup.
In Options check as:
http://i634.photobucket.com/albums/uu61/marioo62/01.gif
In Image tab you will see your subtitles. Remember which line is the first one not blank. Remember its exact beginning time.
http://i634.photobucket.com/albums/uu61/marioo62/03.gif
Now press Save bitmaps. After a while in output folder you will see a new folder named .....sup.bitmaps.
Inside are all bitmaps and an xml file. Open it in Notepad.
Cut all events concerning blank lines. (in this case were line0000 and line0001).
Adjust exactly the beginning time (same as beginning of a first nonblank line) and the end time (same as the end time of last event-line)
http://i634.photobucket.com/albums/uu61/marioo62/07.gif
Check the quantity of events (lines) which change after cutting.
Save and close.
Now follow these instructions to create a BD disc with your subtitles. (after Xoloco Tuxmaster ) using Sonic Scenarist
1. Load up MUI Generator
2. Load the Audio/s in to the program and select create files.
3. Do the same for the video
4. Start up Sonic HDMV
5. Create a New Project.
6. Use the same directory for output path and Encode path
7. Under the Data Tree Tab, right click on data a go NEW-Actual Asset and bring in the to files that where created with MUI Generator.
*7.1. Right click on data again and choose to import bdn file if you want to include subtitles.
8. Go to Stream tree tab
*9.1. Drag the video files onto stream,( this will create a playlist and a clip.)
*9.2. Drag the audio files onto the clip (be careful with the track order)
*9.3. Drag the subtitles files onto the clip
*9.4. Open up the "Tool" drop down menu up the top of the window. Press "Subtitle Arranger" and then "OK". Note the start time of the first subtitle.
*9.5. In the "Clip Editor" tab, right click on the subtitle (PG) and press "Time info...". Then adjust the video offset to the start time of the first subtitle.
10. Click on the Scenario editor tab
11. Select First Playback then right click on it and select Set movie object.
12. Do the Same for top menu.
13. Now drag the playlist onto both MO#1 this will create a nice tree structure.
*14. Now save your project and quit Scenarist. Go back to Windows Explorer and navigate into your Project folder and open the Project.xml file in Notepad. Go all the way to the bottom and find a setting called:
<CopyPermissionIndicator>3</CopyPermissionIndicator>
Change the 3 to a 0 (zero). This will prevent the disc from being flagged as encrypted. This is very important. If you do not perform this step your disc will NOT work.
*15. Load up Mux remote server.
*16. Open Scenarist modified project and click on the mux button in Sonic HDMV.
*17. Select not create the disc image file.
*18. Start the mux.
*19. Remove AACS and CERTIFICATE Folders
I don't remove these Folders. It still works (Panasonic BD35, to change the subtitles if you made more than ones use Display in your remote and press Audio to change the audio )
GOOD LUCK!

Pleinlesyeux, you can change the position of subtitles when editing the xml file you change the X="0" and Y="0" to some other value.
In notepad use Edit then "change all" or "replace all"... I use the polish version so I'm guessing now.

First thanks a LOT for all your indications. After a few hours tryin, I eventually succeeded in booting a movie on the bd55 !!!
Only thing that is bugging me is the 9.4 and 9.5 steps : I don't really understand what values I'm supposed to put in since in supread the time is not in image but in second.
As a result, I try to offset but must be wrong. Can you explain that part again ?
I don't really understand why supreap doesn't give scenarist the right time code...

Also no luck in changing the x and y values. Scenarist denies the import because the value is out of video !
I think this has to do with the .png.
Do anyone knows how to import .csv chapters in scenarist ?

Hi.
After several days of searching, I found out how to up the sup subtitles and how to import .csv file for the chapter.
I used png trimming tool in scenarist to trim the .png then I modify the .xml to have y=0 (and change the name of the png)
For the chapter you just need to write like thi sin notepad and then save in .csv format :
23.976,NonDrop,
00:02:48:00,
00:06:43:00,
00:10:33:00, and so on.
Thank you to averybody that helped me figure out his solution.
If needed, I can be more specific.
