Hi,
I think itīs already discussed several times before but maybe someone can post me a short answer.
Iīm using XP and I can only get bitstream via HDMI in TMT(.125)/XONAR (HDMI) and PDVD8 (S/PDIF) if I deinstall Reclock. With installed Reclock I get no sound from TMT (HDMI and 7.1) and Multichannel 7.1 from PDVD.
How do i have to configure Reclock to work with bitstreaming?

I believe the option you want is the 'Allow ReClock to Accept AC3 Sources' or something like that. This will basically let it work with digital passthrough. It will be unable to adjust the audio playback rate, instead resorting to dropping/duplicating audio frames to keep lipsync.

Thanks, I will try it.

General advice: *AVOID* using bitstream with ReClock.

I want to use my ASUS XONAR in the way it is build for: Bitstreaming. This is perfect if I donīt use reclock, but I can only get a smooth and stutterfree playback of 24Hz sources with reclock. So, I will give "accept AC3-sources" a try.

Yes, but ReClock should be used the way it is build for: PCM processing. ;)
If you want to use bitstreaming, you should consider not using ReClock at all, especially with HD audio formats I have the feeling it won't work.

But I am curious, let me know the results...

With "old" audioformats like DTS or DD TMT works right, if reclock "accepts s/pdif". New formats like DTS-HD or DD-HD: no sound.
In PDVD with s/pdif out all new formats are downsampled to DD or DTS.
The picture is smooth and stutterfree like before, thanks reclock.
Now, I will try it with vista.

Kind of what I expected. Can you create a logfile of this situation?

At least with PowerDVD you should use multi channel PCM via HDMI, so ReClock can work as intended.
