Unfortunately it doesn't fix the problem that some of us are having that appears to be related to the early daylight savings switch in the US. I've emailed support and posted in the "Purchase and license keys (http://forum.slysoft.com/forumdisplay.php?f=37)" forum with no replies from either. Someone else posted they had emailed support and were given a fix. However they did not indicate what the fix is and nobody else has stepped forward. I've been a registered owner of AnyDVD for over 3 years now and this lack of reply in both email and the forums is getting a bit frustrating.:(
BTW, I have read numerous messages about including your serial number in emails to support. Well, if the program refuses to run with the "your trail period has expired" error message there is no way to get your serial number. I did include a copy of the email from my original order when I emailed support with the hope it had enough information to prove my ownership but if I hadn't kept a copy of that over 3 year old email I would have been out of luck.
Sorry to have hijacked this thread but I've always received prompt responses from Slysoft in the past and hoped this might get someone's attention.
Thanks,
Oskar

At the very least, give your original order information.

Not to sound sarcastic but I've been a registered owner of AnyDVD for over 3 years now and I know how to get the serial number AS LONG AS YOU CAN RUN THE PROGRAM. My point was that with the program refusing to run with the "your trail period has expired" error message you can never get the screen above to appear.
BTW, I have included the original order information in 2 emails to support over the last 3 days none of which have been answered. Isn't the email address support@slysoft.com monitored any more? That's the address I've always used in the past for questions and sending IFO files. As for your link above I mentioned that issue in one of the emails to support and requested a new key if by some chance mine had been blacklisted through no fault of mine.
Thanks.

Got that update through windows update when it was first released. Downloaded the standalone patch from above and when I ran it I was told it was already done.
I do happen to live in a state that does NOT ever go on DST so I don't know if there might be a glitch in the microsoft patch or AnyDVD that gets confused by that.

It was just a shot in the dark, just trying to help. My computer automaticly adjusted to Daylight savings time with no glitches, maybe the problem is in a different time zone.:(
