The 6.5 you have will only work with one type of HD disc. 7.0 is not for HD or BD. You need purchase PowerDVD Ultra edition. Their version 7.3 (available only from support after purchase of Ultra will play both versions.

I did misunderstand your original post did not specify ultra edition. In that you have Power 6.5 am I right to assume that it came bundled with a computer? I suspect that the version you have was specially tailored for that system. What are your hardware specs? Do they meet those required by Cyberlink? How is your computer connected to your monitor?

This appears to be your problem. The cyberlink website states that only the following Nvidia cards are supported by 7.X Ultra. It may be the case that 6.5 supported lesser cards but 7.X Ultra does not.
NVidiaGeForce
7600 GT
7800 GTX 512
7900 GX2
7900 GTX
7950 GX2
This is not an issue with HDCP and/or AnyDVD/HD. Rather how PowerDVD Ultra 7.X passes off processing to the GPU. With ATI the X1600, X1800 & X1900 series cards are supported while only the X1900 series cards support HDCP. Additionally Power 7.0 will play properly via an analog (standard VGA) connector to a non-HDCP monitor. The HDCP requirements appear not to have been implimented in disks as yet so as not to destroy the market for early adopters which would require purchase of new big screens. AnyDVD/HD gets rid of this requirement all together.

The list I posted was straight off the Cyberlink website I personally have no information on the 8800 GTX/GTS.

Dolby TrueHD is a lossless compressor, I believe MLP stands for lossless.

MLP == Meridian Lossless Packing. It's a lossless compression method for PCM audio.
