I thought maybe someone here might know the answer.
I have a PCI-e TV Wonder 650 currently working great in Vista 32bit using VMC for all my recording/watching.
I only use it for OTA HD broadcasts via antenna.
I can get a TV Wonder 650 USB at Circuit City for 40.00 since they are closing.
Can I install the USB one on the same system so that I can record two TV shows at the same time?

You should call ATI and ask them as they may or may not compete for the same resources

Last time I tried to get support from ATI I was about as successful as trying to get support from Cyberlink. I may give it a go anyway.

But for only $40, why not give it a try?
Use the latest ATI drivers. If both tuners don't work, try these steps posted by HP (linked from ATI support site):

Posted in the videohelp thread also.

Thanks profcolli I did some searching before posting and did not run across those links. I went out and bought it this morning. I figure if I can not get it working in tandem on the one system I will install it on another and just play the shows on the second system across the network with the first system :)
Plus I have a backup remote, though it is not a lot of use in VMC or PDVD :( I need to figure out how to program my Harmony as a media center remote.

I don't have a Harmony myself, but remotecentral would be a good place for help:

I hooked up the USB one last night and installed the latest driver for it, and thats all as I already had CMC installed with the PCI-e one. It updated the driver for the PCI-e card as well but they bot seem independent because the USB one needed the driver installed to be recognized and work. So the PCI-e driver is not the same though they are called the same thing in device manager.
Anyway installed the driver, started VMC it found the new capture device and I went through the setup, went to live TV hit record, changed channels, hit record. Both shows recorded just fine! :) Now the test will be tonight when Lost and Life are both recording in HD.
Thanks for the remote link I will check it out.

Excellent, if you have more than 1 HDD set them to capture to different drives for smoother capture
