Just purchased a bundle key for AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 , Neither keys are working. I saved them from the Email and double clicked on them and then restarted the machine. Then the Trial Period Expired Warning for any DVD came up, Then tried Clone and was told that i had 1 day left.
I have just recieved the keys and have not shared them so i dont believe that they have been blacklisted.
These are the following things i have done to try and remedy the problem.
1: UN-installed both apps, cleared as many of the registry entries as i could find. Re-installed the newest version of AnyDVD and then restarted as required then double clicked the key and followed the steps, restarted again .... Failed Same Error...
2: Un-installed and cleared registry, Installed Prev version of AnyDVD and then added key , same result.
3: Performed same as step one and tried a prev version before that of step 2 and still got the same problem.

System Information
Windows Vista Home Prem
Anydvd versions tried 6.1.25, 6.1.30, 6.1.3.2
Core2 Duo
1gb ram 120gb hdd
US East coast for DST

Any Help would be great thanks!

You did this? "Press your Windows key and browse through the start menu until you reach the program folder of the SlySoft product you want to unlock. There, browse to register... and click onto this feature. A window will pop up, asking you to select a file. Browse to your desktop and select the according license key with a double click."

Start-->all programs-->slysoft-->Anydvd--->register Anydvd
Start-->all programs-->elaborate bytes-->Clonedvd2--->register clonedvd2

That version of Anydvd is old. Use http://static.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD.exe
instead

I'm not very familiar with Vista. Try disabling User Account Control in Vista (UAC in Vista has been known
to cause some issues with Anydvd).
If you have another firewall program as well, try disabling it when you register.

I suspect someone else is going to have to help you (someone who knows more about Vista than I do).
But most are asleep at the moment.

I have the same problem: After uninstalling "Vista Codec Pack" AnyDVD tells me "The trial period is over". After disabling UAC my registration is OK. But after activation UAC the problem comes back: "The trial period is over"! The tip at http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=732 doesn't work for me.

So, what to do? I don't want to disable UAC permanently!

Any Idea?

Hi :)
Spitzohr Spock
When you first install AnyDVD with settings to autostart. You should've got a popup asking in affect for confirmation to allow this. Even after this you can access UAC & authorise. (The latest version of AnyDVD 6.1.3.3 works with or without the need for login).*
Using AdvancedWindowsCarePersonal, should work.
You need to run this + possibly CCleaner to remove all the crap that could interfere. Then before closing AWCP uncheck then recheck AnyDVD in start menu followed by apply, then close. On rebooting things should be as they are meant to be.
This has worked on countless systems. For me & my colleagues.
*Have you or do you have login. If not what happens if you do?

I see now I have the problem with all Slysoft and Elby software. After a fresh installation of CloneDVD-Mobile with my legal registry after a restart of CloneDVD-Mobile there is a message "CloneDVD-Mobile is not registered. You have 21 days...". The same thing with CloneDVD of Elby!
Yes, I have legal keys! I don't understand why this happens...

I have the same problem with AnyDVD on my new Vista Home Premium PC. I have tried installing old versions of AnyDVD and the issue only seems to have started wil version 6.1.xx.

I have successfully installed versions 6.0.83 and 6.0.95 (can't quite remember the last 2 digits, I am at work at present), both of which has successfully accepted my registration. As far as I can see these version seems to work OK in Vista. I plan to keep 6.0.95 installed until a proper fix is developed.

In all likelyhood your key has been blacklisted if previous versions of Anydvd work in Vista for you:

Sorry for the delay in answering but now I'm back from holiday.
I found the problem!!! I installed "HID Non-User Input Data Filter" that offered me Windows Update - and after then I had the problems with the license keys. After deinstalling this ******* Microsoft Update program all the problems with the license key gone away...

Can anybody tell me what this ******* "HID Non-User Input Data Filter" does?

Regards... Spock

P.S.: You see - my keys are NOT blacklisted!

"HID Non-User Input Data Filter" does?

Perhaps Zebadee can explain further.

I was referring to balein, but maybe balein is having the same issue with that HID update.
