I have the Western Digital HD TV and all I am trying to do is put my dvds/Blu-rays on an external hard drive.
Regular DVD - Put it in, selected "Copy to Image" hooked up hard drive and worked just fine.
Blu-ray - Put it in, selected "Copy to Image" hooked up hard drive and the VIDEO worked just fine.... but no sound. If it matters, the Blu-ray is Transporter 3.
What am I doing wrong?
Also, for what I am doing (I dont want to burn, just have a digital library) is this the best way to do it? Just rip each DVD into an ISO file?
I am using AnyDVD HD.

DVD - it is better to create the ISO with CloneDVD as the ISO function is meant for HD media and it can leave some SD protections behind. Plus you can get rid of all the extras that you can not access on the WD-TV anyway. Just the main movie and the sound track you want is best.
BD - Because there are several audio streams it plays the first one it can. The WD-TV does not play HD audio. So you need to make a movie only backup with the audio stream you want and the movie and you need to downconvert the HD audio to the core.

Wow ok.... I have no clue where to start to do that for BD. Is there a thread for this?

This thread http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=28845 deals with wd-tv specifically, but assumes you know about the programs used. Check the sig for mrr19121970 to see the how-to - this will solve your audio problems.
Welcome to the world of HD on the PC - it ain't easy. If you want easy, buy a standalone player ;)

I will post again if I get stuck :)

How do you have it hooked up? via optical or HDMI and to what? As for T3, I had no issues with audio if I was using the optical out for my audio. It would not work HDMI direct to the TV.

That could be the problem them. As of now I am doing HDMI. I ordered an optical cable and should be here today. I will test this out and keep you posted!
Thanks
