I suggest Plextor cd/dvd writers but you need the right software.
Which kind of copy protections did you mean?

No one! To burn copy protected cds or dvds you must use software. it immaterial what writer you have, but i prefer LG or Plextor writers.

Not realy it mostly depends on the hardware. The lastest copy protections like Safedisc 4.7 and Securom 7.

i've burned long time ago, securom or safedisk games with different writers and exactly the same software (blindwrite, alcohol or any other) and finally, all copys are the same.

cd/dvd writers only, can't avoid a copy protection!

I disagree. I create many images with several different drives and all worked with the right software but without the right software you have no success.
