:rock:I have a Bluray Movie I want to watch, Not back up. It is the Day the Earth Stood Still. Its the black and white version on Bluray. Every time I put it in my Panny BD35 player it says copyright violation. Anyone seen this problem? Thanks

This not a back up. Its a original Bluray movie. I did not know where to post it, For it is not a Anydvd HD issue. I can watch it on my pc which I dont want to. The question was why would copyright violation come up on my stand alone panny BD35 I always buy my Blurays. I felt like renting one today just to watch. It is region 1 USA My panny has the newest update.

My mistake. Somehow I misread your post. :o

High Definition Hardware is the applicable place in the future since the problem is hardware related being that the BD player is having an issue. Someone already moved the thread. :)

This is the first movie that ever said Copyright violation. I guess I will watch it on my pc instead. But it is kind of strange. I do not rent very often. I Buy.

Maybe firmware update needed on the BD35.

Thank's for your responce. This is for sure a panny problem. I had checked for the current update. It said I had the most current update. But that did not help me. The next one might help though. Hopefully I will not have this problem again. Watched it from my PC to my Sony Bravia. So it was all good.
