View Full Version : How long does Slysoft support take

ABC
4th April 2007, 19:07
Sent Slysoft support an e-mail Sunday April 1, received a ticket number within a 1/2 hour from sending my e-mail, but not a peep from them since in the last 3 days.

Is this standard procedure with Slysoft ?

What is their normal reply time ?

And what question would that be?

Simply about installation on a reformatted hard drive, real easy, could not be simpler.

Then why not ask here?

Then why not ask here?

Because no one here can speak officially for SLYSOFT and it gives me a chance to verify the quality and speed of their customer support.

Purchased all the software they offer and nothing is wrong with any of them, customer support on the other hand is a totally different aspect than the quality, reliability of the software once it is sold.

Actually, that's not true. Tom can. James can. Peer can. Others can.

Everything I have read here since start up when the same question was asked by others, the answer has always been you have to contact customer support, which is exactly what I have also done.

Your key has been blacklisted? I thought you mentioned installation on a formatted hard drive.

Then it's not the same question.

148 hours = 6 days with no reply to my question and ticket issued by them on 4-1-07 in the afternoon.

What has happened to their support/service ?

168 hours = 7 DAYS with no reply to my question and ticket issued by them on 4-1-07 in the afternoon.

I am disapointed, as I copied and pasted the exact same message to all 3 suppliers I use regularly, LG Innovation Software for my 1 Click and DVD Fab software as well as Slysoft and the other two both replied within 24 to 48 hours.

Not knocking Slysoft products here as I purchased their bundle and I use them on a regular basis and have been happy with them so far. I pretty well have the ultimate arsenal with all 3 different suppliers. :agree:

I really would like to know what is going on as I am a strong proponent of their products with friends etc. and really hate posting here because I have not yet received a reply, which is not normal or good business practice. :(

Seems to me you are trying to make a point. OK - I'll agree that since this board came into being, it seems to be the 1st line of support before emailing Slysoft directly.

If you actually want your question answered - post it here.
If you want to subject Slysoft Support to an ABC imposed support test comparison - carry on.

Were you able to reformat and use your key to activate? Did you check your spam filter? Please answe these questions. Thankyou.

No, I have not reformatted yet.

Slysoft is in my approved senders list in Mail Washer Pro, e-mails from Slysoft are automatically accepted and processed, I normally do receive Slysoft e-mails.

14 DAYS = 2 WEEKS with no reply to my question and ticket issued by them on 4-1-07 in the afternoon.

I guess dissapointment with Slysoft support and customer service is becoming more and more frequent.

check your e-mails online on your service providers home page via the mail link.if anyone sent me an e-mail that had 're:' in the subject line it went into the spam folder even though i had the sender in my allow list.something similar may have happened in your case too.

I believe that we, the forum users, have been patient, ABC, in attempting to answer your question, which you refuse to post clearly. Consequently, this thread serves no real purpose, if, in fact, it ever did.

If you wish to have a conversation with Slysoft, I encourage you to contact them again using this form:
http://www.slysoft.com/contact.html

Most emails are usually responded to within 2 business days. If you feel that no one here can act on behalf of Slysoft, then there's no reason to be posting at all, and if you're unwilling to post your question, then don't create a thread.

I'm closing this one. I recommend, if you wish to continue being welcome on these forums, ABC, that you do not create further vague and useless threads, which I consider to be tantamount to trolling.
