Advice for a cd writer [Archive]

Hallo,
I would like to buy a cd writer that dosn't give me problems with protections when I burn image files.
Can anyone give me an advice about a good model?

The burner isn't going to help with copy protections, you would need some sort of software for that. There are a lot of good CD writers. I personally have an older HP9500 series, but if you asked 10 people, you'd get 7-8 different answers. There are a lot more good CD burners than good DVD burners. By the way, a DVD burner will burn CDs as well.
