problem with LCD screen

I have a LCD screen at my home.
I just want to know,
Why does my LCD screen go black sometimes?

Power cord or connector(DVDI or Analog) not connected well. Perhaps your Video source(onboard or video card) If those are OK, I'd contact the manufacture (if it's still under warranty) about a replacement.
