Waiting for DVD drive message

I have CloneCD ver 5.2.9.1. When I insert a music disc in my dvd drive, I receive the message "Waiting for NEC 6500a DVD+RW drive & nothing else happens. I use AnyDVD & CloneDVD2 all of the time with no problems.

What gives ??

Your version of Clonecd is outdated. Update it: http://sandbox.slysoft.com/SetupCloneCD5302.exe

But even without Clonecd running, can your drive see the disc? If not, the issue probably doesn't have anything to do with Clonecd.

Thanks. How do I check that my dvd is set to drive "D"? AnyDVD has no problems finding the disk in drive D.

Click start.
Click "my computer".
select your "d:" drive.
Right click on that drive, and select "explore"
