View Full Version : Having a Few Issues - What to do next...

I'm transferring a few Blu-Ray discs at the moment but I'm building up a collection of problem discs ... but I don't know if it's my process rather than AnyDVD HD.

I typically image the discs and keep the protection intact, I then mount them with Virtual CloneDrive and use MakeMKV (1.5.8) to convert them overnight. Around 90% of my discs work fine but I have some issues with:

A Few Good Men
Bourne Supremacy
Bourne Ultimatum
The Proposal
State of Play

They're all UK (Region B) discs. I can MKV most of the supporting files, just not the main titles. Therefore, I'm assuming that AnyDVD HD (v6.6.8.0) is working ... but I could be wrong. I have Bumblebee running as well.

Unfortunately, my ripping engine (an old laptop) can't actually play the discs but it plays the subsequent MKVs.

So do I have a problem with AnyDVD HD and should I post logs? If it's my fault, I'll wait a few weeks and test it on my real PC. I just didn't want to sit on these logs if it was going to be useful to the developers.

Not an AnyDVD HD issue, at least 3 of those titles are VC-1 which I'm not sure if you can use in MakeMKV. You'd be better off posting on the makemkv forum.

Thanks for the pointer, I'll head off in that direction.
