Thin blue line down side of lcd flat screen monitor

There is very thin blue line down the left side of my lcd flat screen monitor and I can't seem to get rid of it. I have already checked for loose cable connections so that's not the problem. Can I fix this?

It is possibly "backlight" wash but that should be more white than blue. I would contact the manufacturer, if it is still under warranty.
What brand and model number is it?
