Wonder if Slysoft has thought of making available a pre-release purchase of CloneBD (or whatever they plan to call it) with the life-time update license available?

I for one would be willing to do this. Anyone else?

Tks

If they had one to release I would think they would. Last I heard there isn't one.

I know they don't have one yet.....but they are working on one and I have enough faith in them that it will be ready for release (why I said pre-release) sometime in the future.

Yes Charlie, but he means pay now, get the product later.

I would like such an option, but with the addition that you get early access to the closed beta. Just like the game-publishers do it. Buy that game and get a beta-key!

That would make sense but at the same time can cause chaos too as people would be asking when more often on the release and paying for key and no end product. It would be nice but a double edge sword at the same time.

Exactly. The way people get on here groaning and moaning, you think they had paid for something already. I would hate to see the volume of posts if they actually did pay for something.

Then you have those who get on with the reverse psychology "they can't make you prepay for a product, because they have no product" As if slysoft will respond "look, he says we have no product. Let's post our development lifecycle, deliverable dates, constant progress, and final rtm date so we can prove that we have a product"

Some people might be ridiculous enough to think they would get that while others go on with the rest of their life and wait patiently for them to release the product.

Correct. I remember when they had vbulletin 4.0 pre-sale. When it was longer than 2 months guess what? Yep users complained about not having a product. Yea they had a presale too. I hate to see the post I saw there here. Some can wait but there is always a bad apple.
