I'm wondering if there are any known conflicts with AnyDVD when installed on a laptop that has 3rd party hard-drive encryption, such as Utimaco SafeGuard. Specifically, are there known issues with reading the DVD and ripping it to the hard drive. I'm wondering this because I know these 3rd party encryption utilities put hooks into the read/write (BIOS?) level of hardware/software -- and if that might conflict with hooks AnyDVD is putting in from the perspective of reading from the DVD drive or writing to the hard drive.

Thanks,
-Tom

You should contact utimaco safeguard for that question and they should provide information on their site about potential software conflicts...so contact their support line....James beat me to the punch...but I don't have any conflicts with my firewall and a/v programs running with anydvd as well as using w7 bitlocker ran fine on it...
