My dvd drive stopped working, so i had to reinstall a new driver for that drive. Now anydvd is not working. It says AnyDvd is disabled for Drive E and then my drive is listed underneath that. Anyone have any ideas on how to enable it?

Try to uninstall and reinstall AnyDVD.

Are you sure the drive is still good? How?

I am able to burn dvds that are not copyrighted and able to play any cd/dvd. I dont see where i can uninstall and re-install without purchasing again. I purchased this quite a while ago and im not sure if i purchased the lifetime one:(

Go to this page: https://secure.slysoft.com/renewal.php and it will tell you if you have a lifetime or not. You can always uninstall and install again, but if you have a yearly subscription, you just need to make sure you have the last update BEFORE your subscription expired on your hard drive to install back.

Start CloneDVD and click on the "About" button in the bottom left corner.

That window doesnt show his serial number. Just the used version and who's it registered too.

@tinac2772: if you don't know them. simply issue a support ticket and ask them :)

Maybe YOURS doesn't, but mine does. Better look at it again just a little bit closer.

It's in the blacked out area right above the registered name. If you don't have it, then I guess that would be an Elby issue. But as you saw from the other thread, this person did also.

Here's mine:

Serial is blacked out. Registered user is blurred out.

guess you still don't believe me. Here this time without a blank. In my case elby has nothing to do with it. I purchased my software directly from slysoft.

Ever installed an elby "package" version? Or used one of the CloneDVD2 keygens in the past?

I guess not, they are just the developers and should know why your version is different.

I purchased my software directly from slysoft.

So did I.

First Q no, 2nd one, don't think so though i'll admit i can't guarantee that. I'm bound for a format C: anyway but i've got some software that needs the company to drop by to reinstall / configure it due to its nature, thing is thats costly if your no gold member and i aint one. So waitin till i got the funds before i tell em to drop by :)

Anyways back on topic

No need. Just uninstall and delete your key when asked. Reinstall, install your key, done.

I am kind of off-topic here but whenever I tell CloneDVD to delete my key after an uninstall, it does not delete it. I reboot and reinstall and it still shows my serial and I don't have to register it again. I know this is probably something related to my setup or there would be tons of reports. AnyDVD and CloneCD will delete my key and I have to re-register after I reinstall. This will even happen on a fresh install of Windows Vista x64 with no other software installed. Kind of wierd but not a big deal. Also sometimes when I install CloneCD it shows up as a yellow question mark in windows uninstall programs (a reinstall of CloneCD or two on top of itself will make the sheep icon show eventually so its not really a big deal either). I am guessing one is just cosmetic and the other has something to do with my system
