Any Plans For Up-Conversion Feature?

I received a spam email from a company calling themselves “DVD Ranger” (Pixbyte?). They attempt to life their credibility in the realm by claiming some alliance with “AnyDVD”, among others. I was unimpressed until I saw one capability offered that caught my attention; “DVD to HD conversion”. If this is SD to HD conversion such that it does the operation in software, the same as an up-converting player – I find that interesting and valuable.

Would you also find it of interest, to the point of considering adding it to CloneDVD2? I would like to know if you do.

I own up-converting players but it would be an extremely useful feature if the up-conversion was properly done in software, with the highest quality and resolution.

You opened a support ticket for this and I answered you. 8)

With our plates being full of studio things and our other projects we have no plans on doing what you suggest as found on that site.

There are a lot of "tools" available for converting this or that and we'd rather leave that end of this business to these entities and concentrate on fair-use and backing up what you own, etc.
