Hi,

Just tick "Enable BD-Support" only with no other tabs active.

Just noticed with "Chronical" rip to iso that Bd-Live is disabled in scan status when tab to do this is not active.

Any info on this as iso image is now the only file that i have dead spots in playback on my Dune HD Smart D1.

Had previous advice that some extras need BD-Live feature left in (even if it is NOT BD-Live feature)

Running 7.0.4.3

Intervidual files plays ok with "lite" mode on Dune player (Dune's own speedmenu)

Many Thanks

That's a BD+ disc - BDlive is disabled by force, that's a requirement.

Don't know, what you mean with dead spots (?)

ISO image plays trailers etc but freezes when going to main menu (played it first time, but no more) between loading.

ISO ripped with AnyDVD HD "Rip To Image".

It is the only ISO i have that has done this.

All the individual titles play ok in Dune's "lite" playback mode (your speed menu equivalant)

Will post log file as i am at work at moment.

Is it a Java issue?

Thanks Peer.

What happens if you try playing it back on your PC using TMT or PDVD?

Hi Adbear,

PDVD plays ISO on my PC but have noticed that the tabs on the menu screen go missing (Play - Chapters - ETC)

I have now posted a log file.

Could it be a Java issue?

Should i start a new thread on this?

Many Thanks.

Hi,

Chronical ISO playback on PC with PDVD plays but with tabs missing on main menu (Chapters - Extras ETC)

When playbacked on my Dune HD Smart D1 its starts and just freezes between loading trailers, adverts ETC. It will play individual files of ISO in Dune's "Lite" mode (Simular to AnyDVDHD speed menu)

This is the only ISO that has this problem on my system.

Help please !!

What version of PDVD?
Does the original disc play back properly in PDVD with AnyDVD disabled?

Do not start a new thread while working the topic in an existing thread.

You are using PDVD v 9 so does this work with AnyDVD "disabled"?

Well, one could argue these are two entirely different topics.

1.) Why is BD-Live Disabled - With Box Unchecked (answer given, topic actually closed)

2.) PDVD plays ISO on my PC but have noticed that the tabs on the menu screen go missing

(And now the thread title "BD-Live Disabled - With Box Unchecked" is quite misleading)

Thanks to all above

Played iso file and original disc on my PC with PowerDVD 9 (How did you know Frank?)

Both played fine.

It was me leaving the pointer on screen so that the tabs did not show untill i moved it (to my defence i do not use my Pc much to watch iso back) sorry to waste all your time

Noticed that the file still froze between trailers and menus on my Dune HD Smart D1. It played single files in the iso ok with "lite" mode still, could this be a Java issue with my box?

Could someone look at my log file to see all is ok with disc status please.

Noticed that though BD-Live has been removed because it is a BD+ disc, that their seem to be no BD-Live features on the discs menu.
Could somone just explain this.

Do i need to be on line when using AnyDVD HD for the database if i am using the lastest version?

Many thanks to all again

If it plays fine in PDVD then it's an issue with the Dune which will be down to them to fix

Could somone just explain this.If BD-Live features are supposed to be there, obviously they won't work once BD-Live is removed.

OTOH, a lot of disc menus also use BD-Live without advertising it. BDA standards require discs to provide support for players without BD-Live; once AnyDVD HD removes BD-Live, the disc reverts to this fallback code OR uses substitute code (IIRC usually BD-Java) provided by AnyDVD HD via Magic File Replacement.
