just curious

I updated clonecd & clonedvd mobile & game jackal a few minutes ago on my desktop & laptop. Game jackal required a restart. After a restart all dvd drives are "gone" on both computers!
I tried creating logs - no luck!
I uninstalled then reinstalled anydvd per popup suggestion - no change
See attached picture from desktop for further details
Note - Odds are a system restore will fix this so I'll post an update shortly!

To clarify
I own all slysoft products.
I had not updated clonecd & clonedvd mobile & game jackal for a while and updated all 3 earlier today.
After restarting my computer windows explorer showed no blu ray/dvd/virtual drives.
Device manager showed issues for my blu ray/dvd/virtual drives.
I just finished a system restore to 1am this morning for my laptop.
Blu ray/dvd/virtual drive are back to normal
UPDATE - System restore worked on my Desktop as well. Blu ray/dvd/virtual drive are back to normal!

Odd that your DVD drives were gone, but I'm glad that all is well for you.

Thanks for reporting. Please try CloneCD 5.3.1.6, this should fix the problem.

Didn't know that the newest beta of CloneCD was the culprit for the OP.

"The previous beta shipped with an unsigned ElbyCDFL.sys driver, which caused optical drives to disappear on 64bit systems"
I did the 3 updates again and this time my blu ray, dvd & virtual drive were still there and functional on both my desktop & laptop!
