Echo Bridge:Blackbeard will not copy

The first thing I have run across. It will not play on my Sony computer either. Plays on the DVD Player so there is nothing wrong with the disk.

It will start reading and then stops and tells me the drive isn't ready or there is nothing in the drive. SlysoftDVD says the drive isn't ready and the disk has indeed stopped turning.

Any suggestions or do you know what this particular company has that Slysoft isn't reading?

This is a Hallmark movie on the Echo Bridge label.
