Unable to play Protected DVD's

I am now unable to play copy written DVD's, it looks like I am trying to play a copy of a protected DVD, as the screen shows a picture cut by green bars or heavily pixelated, the sound is garbled.
I am able to play any other DVD, ie. a copy or home made variety.I have 3 xDVD play software, have reinstalled them all but to no avail.

Do you use AnyDVD to decrypt the movie?

YES I can decrypt and make copy but the copy is as if it was not decrypted. That is not the problem. I cannot play a copy protected DVD it is as if I had made a copy without decrypting.
