Hi there,

I'd like to copy my Vista DVD.

How do I do that? I have Clone CD and Clone DVD and AnyDVD. Clone DVD doesn't seem to want to copy anything that isn't video.

Thanks,

Max

Use this method: click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=327

(you don't necessarily require Anydvd for this)

@ cateyed,

The Vista installation DVD is actually a preinstalled copy of Windows that simply gets decompressed onto your PC. In other words the installation DVD contains a compressed .WIM image file of the Vista operating system and it's decompressed onto your hard disk when you install it.

To successfully copy a Vista Installation DVD you need to use a copying software program that is specifically designed to handle image copying. The CloneCD software program will successfully copy a Vista Installation DVD.
