Go to Device Manager. Right-click on My Computer, select Properties, click on the Hardware tag, click on the Device Manager button, click on the plus sign to the left of IDE ATA/ATAPI Controller, double-click on the secondary IDE channel, click on Extended Settings and change the relevant setting from PIO only to DMA when available.

This thread does not belong in the Anydvd forum, since Anydvd doesn't burn. What program are you using to burn?

Here is a great tool to reset the DMA for your DVD drives. Try it and it may fix your problem. It did for me http://svp.co.uk/helpdesk/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=15 (http://svp.co.uk/helpdesk/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=15)

DVDFab can reset DMA as well.
