mp4 sound sink problems

I'm a new user with great results with DVD to AVI, but I've got problems with DVDmobile when converting from DVD to mp4, the sound is out of sink to the video, on computer and Sony Ericsson phone, anybody else had this problem? any ideas how I over come it? your advice would be welcome.
