Is the following an AnyDVD problem or a WinVista problem? I guess from the error message it is a Vista problem? Is there a fix or a work around?
I have just added an external Firewire 1T disk (Drive I) to my Vista Media Centre. I have ripped a CD to the external drive with AnyDVD. I have hacked the registry :- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Media Center\Settings\DvdSettings Double-click the key ShowGallery and change the value from “Play” to “Gallery”. so I can see and play the ripped the DVDs on my M/Centre. if I then navigate to a ripped DVD I can play it after a fresh boot. If I then stop the playback then try to play the same or any other ripped DVD I get this error message:- "DVD Error. "Windows Media centre cannot play this DVD. "Please restart windows Media Centre and insert the DVD again." At other times when I try to play the DVDs the M/Centre does not respond. |

No. That problem simply does not involve Anydvd. Also this forum is for Blu-ray and HD-DVDs only. The Anydvd forum is for regular dvds.
