Default Having trouble with Ver. 6.4.5.0 download

Hi guys,

I'm doing my update as I do everytime you guys send one out and this version and the one before I have had it show what the attachment picture says... I have nver had any problems before this. Any help guys?....I thought I might add alittle bit more...I have retry'd to no avail and I have also hit ignore so I can come back to this driver and the next install line would come up with the same response. I can only cancel.

If you have Zonealarm on your system, ensure Anydvd is being given permission to access the trusted zone.
Similarly if you have a firewall, antivirus or spyware program--ensure it's not blocking Anydvd from running.
Provided you downloaded Anydvd from Slysoft's website, Anydvd is a safe program (you have nothing
to be paranoid about).

If you have System Mechanic, System Mechanic Pro, or any kind of registry monitoring program, please ensure
these programs are allowing Anydvd's installation program to modify your registry--as those programs can block
Anydvd from installing properly.

1. Exit out of all Slysoft programs and reinstall

a) Keep your license key file backed up safely
b) Uninstall Anydvd (start-->all programs-->Slysoft--->Anydvd-->Uninstall)
c) Reboot
d) Download Anydvd http://static.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD.exe
e) Exit all Slysoft programs (including Anydvd, Clonedvd2, Clonecd, Clonecdtray, Clonedvdmobile, etc.). Check Windows Task Manager if you have to.
f) At this point disable your antivirus and firewall programs
g) Reinstall
h) Reboot
i) Install your license key (if required) http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=732
j) At this point enable your antivirus and firewall programs

weird.
the first update would go so far but wouldn't install the files (didn't even create a restore point).
james's update (post #5) worked as normal.
i'm running xp sp2 though not vista.
maybe i just got a corrupted download - are both links carrying identical 6451 anydvd.exe programs?

I just want to thank Slysoft for always being on top of things and constantly enhancing and maintaining ANYDVD. I also greatly appreciate the emails letting me know that a new version is available.

Lastly, I want to thank ANYDVD for doing something that is really rare in the industry ....making its updates unbelievably simple to install. One click, DONE.
I have never had to manually uninstall the prior version or have to search the registry for removing traces of older versions of ANYDVD, as has happened to me many times with other software updates.

Sincerely,

Jon
